Started the disassembly of the stern and what a mess. Silicon and pastic bag wraping the exhaust and 1 hour from burning thru the hoses.

After seeing the repair job they did on the exhaust it makes you wonder why someone would go out on the water with passengers. Keep up the good work it looks like you got alot of corrosion to remove or replace.

Going thru all the wires and replacing wires or just removing them. Almost all the connectors have corrosion so i replaced them too. Replacing all the switches and fuse holders but the dash and steering need work so i cant install them yet.

The muff's inlets & outlets were cooked and crushed so i made some temp fittings for the ends. We made blocks and we clamped the exhuast to the sides. The raw pump kit came in so we took apart the pump and to no surprize... eeeww. Replace everything in the pump so it should last awhile now.

Sure sound great Did you install a electronic ignition or leave the points in the distributor.

We just received the electronic ignition and should be installing it after we finish all the wiring. We want to make sure it runs after the wiring before we start new projects.

The old clamp block for the steering rod had adhesive to stop the slop so i installed a new clamp block kit.

While working on the boat last month i inspect the drive shaft and i found a crack in the shaft key-way. Today i received the new shaft, packing, coupling and while you are replacing all that you might as while replace new strut bearings.
