  • How to remove Volvo AQ-110 engine

Hi. I am converting a beautiful old 18-foot lifeboat/tender, ( fibreglass, luckily ) , from inboard to outboard. Volvo AQ 200 stern drive has been removed. Motor is Volvo AQ-110 4 cyl, gas engine. Question is: there are 2 FRONT supports only. None in rear. What do I unbolt at rear and do I have to support it from above while I unbolt it ? Motor will go in another boat so I am being careful. Outboard will be 50 HP Johnson on Gil bracket. Much less weight from motor and ballast. Many thanks. I'm including a pic of the boat, and a view from above the rear of motor.

Well, it's all figured out . I will remove the last bolts in a garage with an overhead crane supporting the motor. Will try to close post, not sure how.
